BOARDING HOUSE HOSTEL APPEAL FOR IIKHUTA!HOAS PRIMARY SCHOOL FOR THE ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN
We have been granted permission by the Kharas Regional Education Office to build a hostel in the school grounds for 50 learners, four teachers, two house mothers and a room for the health teacher.
IIKhuta!hoas is situated in a very rural and marginalised area of the country where there is a desperate need for a substantial hostel to be built to accommodate the growing number of orphans and vulnerable children and the children of the nomadic herdsmen. A dormitory which can house teachers will naturally attract qualified teachers and increase the numbers of learners which in turn increases the allowances given to the school by the Government.
The approximate cost for this building project is £200,000
