We are the Namibia Project.  It’s our mission to raise funds to address the devastating effects of poverty on children’s lives throughout Namibia.
It is our privilege and honour to make a difference to this proud and beautiful country.
And we want to tell the whole world about it. Or, as many people as we can.

We would very much like you to get involved.  It is our firm belief that we can all make a difference.  We are a global village, after all. It is what each and every one of us does every day that matters.  And, it does matter.  One person can make a difference.  Together, we’re invincible.

The levels of economic distress and privation in Namibia are life-limiting.  Poverty affects families there in ways that most of us can’t even imagine or would ever experience.  Through no fault of their own, this is hardship that holds back children, as real as any solid physical barrier.

We know that girls and boys in Namibia are often prevented from being the best they can be.

Access to good healthcare, decent food, an education and a safe secure environment are basic human rights often denied to Namibian families.

But it doesn’t have to be like that.  And, things are changing.  What’s more, thanks to charities like The Namibia Project, many, many families have been empowered to make positive changes.
Since our inception, we’ve helped vulnerable children on their way to a better life.

With education, health and welfare high on our agenda (in fact our indicators are the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals), a new hostel, community hall, library and craft centre now serve the needs of local communities.  Everything from goats, chickens, transport to wind up radios and school equipment – even the odd iPad or two - have helped to change lives.

But there’s more to do.  This website will give you all the information that you need about The Namibia Project.  We’d love to hear from you, so contact us today.
